Be still and know that I am God. I inhabit the silence.
Be still. Still in the very deepest part of your soul.
You are always on a quest for something; to understand, to perceive, to reach some destiny that is always outside of your grasp.
I would have you to be still.
Sometimes in the silence is the answer. Sometimes in the waiting is the learning.
Don’t always be about the destination. Don’t always be about the process. Sometimes you need to just be. Just be in the moment – peaceful, quiet, and satisfied.
You tend to fill the space because you are afraid of the silence. You think that if you are quiet that something will happen without you, that you will be left out, or that you will be abandoned.
But I want you to know that in the peace, the silence, and the stillness, is my presence. That is the prize.
You will never feel abandoned by me. You will feel strengthened. You will feel comforted. You will feel at peace, contented.
So stop. Cease striving, stop desiring and yearning for something that is outside of your current position. Instead, be content in this moment. Be content with me, with you, with this.
The world rushes to and fro, to and fro. They do not know how to still their hearts, how to be at peace with me. They only know the burden of doing, of chasing but never getting. You know the joy of capture, the joy of surrender, the joy of being loved completely, totally and without limitation. There is nothing you need to achieve to receive these, they are a free gift from me.
Trade your sorrow, your heartache, your worry, your trials, and your torment for my peace.
Let serenity embrace you like a comfortable gown. Let it wrap itself around your soul, hugging you close, enveloping you in its warmth and providing you with security.
You were designed to know stillness. You were designed to know peace. Return to your roots, to your creator’s instructions.
I have instructed you to meditate day and night upon my words, upon me and upon the truth of what I have made you to be. Do not neglect this process of stopping and listening. For it is in the quiet that my small still voice can be heard.
I yearn for you. And you yearn for more but you do not realise that I am the more you are yearning for. Nothing you achieve can compare to the achievement of being with me.
I am your source of everything – of life, of love, of joy, of power, of wisdom, of hope, of courage, of strength, and of happiness. Do not run from me. Learn to sit in my presence for I have secrets that I wish to share with you. If only you would sit and listen to my voice. Still your heart and bathe yourself in my presence, in my anointing.
