Over time all will be revealed. The notion that you can know everything in a moment is just a notion. All things get woven together over time. You cannot know what the picture looks like until the last thread is woven. You can think you know. You can have a hint of what it might be, but you will not know with clarity until the end of the project.
So, in this time of waiting for perfection, be about the building of the picture. Be about being submitted and open to God’s guidance so that the threads that get added to your life are as colourful and purposeful as possible.
Hear God when he tells you what is in and what is out. These are difficult moments but they are the moments that will define your life.
Trust. Faith. Hope. These are the attributes that you will need to hold all things together while you wait for completion.
You are who you are. You cannot change the DNA that God has given you. You must learn how to work with who you are by surrendering your will to His will. And as you do, you will find that He will highlight and enhance the beauty that He has placed in your life.
Your peace, your belonging, your sense of who you are do not come from worldly things, from people, nor from your family. They come from God.
Be about God’s businesses even when you are about your business.
